The China Outbound & Inbound Travel Market (COITM) will take place from 14–16 October 2026 at the New Hall (Hall 11) of the National Agricultural Exhibition Center in Beijing. The COITM organisers are thrilled to announce that the Russia National Center of Tourism Development CSR has officially confirmed its participation in the 2026 COITM.
The Russia National Center of Tourism Development is planning to bring a wealth of new destination resources from various regions and featured travel itineraries. They aim to initiate in-depth matchmaking with Chinese outbound tour operators, travel agencies, and MICE buyers, demonstrating a continued commitment to cultivating the Chinese outbound travel market.
As is widely known, the mutual visa-free policy between China and Russia has been extended through to the end of 2027. China currently ranks as the top source market for inbound tourism to Russia, with visitor arrivals experiencing explosive growth. Meanwhile, Russia is comprehensively upgrading its reception capacity through initiatives such as launching cross-border cable cars and dedicated tourist trains, as well as advancing the "China Friendly" service certification program. Furthermore, Russia is launching "Open Your Russia 2.0", to help Russian regions become more competitive in international tourism markets.
The year 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the China-Russia strategic partnership of coordination and the 25th anniversary of the signing of the China-Russia Treaty of Good-Neighborliness, Friendship, and Cooperation. The comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination between the two countries in the new era is advancing to a higher level. At this significant historical juncture, the Russia National Center of Tourism Development CSR will have a marquee appearance at the 2026 COITM. This participation will not only introduce fresh, authentic Russian resources and premium services to Chinese outbound tour operators—further enriching the product matrix of China's outbound travel market—but also inject strong momentum into exchanges and mutual learning in trade, culture, and tourism, propelling bilateral cooperation into an exciting new stage of development.
