The organiser of COITM has recently announced that the Embassy of the Republic of Zambia in China has confirmed its participation at the 2026 China Outbound & Inbound Travel Market (COITM), which will be held from 14 -16 October at New Hall (Hall 11), National Agricultural Exhibition Center in Beijing.
Zambia will showcase its premium tourism resources, latest entry policies and customised travel products at COITM, to deepen the tourism cooperation with Chinese tour operators and travel agents and expand its presence in China’s outbound travel market.
Fueled by the booming high-end and in-depth outbound travel trend, China’s tourist arrivals in Africa are expected to rise to 22.4% in 2026. With stunning natural scenery, pristine ecology and unilateral visa-free access for Chinese citizens, Zambia has become a top emerging African travel destination.
Backed by solid bilateral relations, Zambia offers convenient visa exemption policies: Chinese tourists enjoy a 90-day visa-free stay (single entry within 12 months), and business visitors are eligible for a 30-day visa-free stay.
2026 presents prime opportunities for China-Zambia tourism cooperation. Favoured by flexible visa policies and official promotion, Zambia stands out as a high-potential niche wild luxury travel destination.
The Zambian Embassy in China warmly invites all industry professionals to its 2026 COITM booth for in-depth exchanges and cooperation, to jointly explore the bilateral tourism market and unlock unique visa-free travel experiences in Zambia.
